Historical Building

St. Augustine’s is a beacon on the corner of Telegraph Ave and 29th St. in Oakland, California. Our National Historic Landmark church was built in the Gothic Carpenter fashion in 1892. It began as Trinity Episcopal Church, which later merged with St. Augustine’s (formerly of 27th St. and West St.) in 1975. When you enter, you feel awe and wonder at the abundance of redwood lumber, old pews and detailed craftsmanship.
